Established in 2004, China Sunergy is an international high-tech enterprise with advanced photovoltaic technology, specialized in the R&D, production, sales and after-sales service of solar cells and devoted to providing green and clean solar energy to global customers.

As a NASDAQ-listed company, China Sunergy has had 11 solar cell production lines. The cell production capacity at the end of 2010 reached 320 MW, and the planned cell production capacity will reach 750MW and the planned module production capacity will exceed 1.2GW. Quasar solar cell, developed by CSUN, uses a novel technology, which improves light response effectively, and results in higher conversion efficiency. This new technology also succeeds in simplifying the production process, as well as reducing the operation links and narrowing the distribution of conversion efficiency, thus brings more advantages to the quality control. Quasar could be combined with other new technologies developed by CSUN’s R&D center to improve conversion efficiency continuously.
