Maxa heat pumps can be useful both for heating and cooling a building as well to product sanitary hot water and to do it they use prevalently (75%) the energy present in the environment and for a smaller part (25%) the one from traditional sources.
Technology is based on an external environmental heat source: air, water or soil.
The most common heat pumps are the electric ones, available in four different version: air-air, air-water, water-air and water-water. The first term is the energy source while the second term is the way heat or cool or sanitary water are distributed inside the building.
Sinergy between a heat pump and a photovoltaic plant is very interesting: the PV plant can supply the heat pump for a total “green” solution.
